Terms and conditions for Novahunt AS


1 The agreement
1. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you also agree to our partners' terms and conditions.


2 Ordering
1. As soon as an order is placed, registered and necessary payment has been deposited; the order will be mutually binding for the customer and Novahunt AS.


3 Payment
1. For trips delivered by our partners, the partner's terms and conditions for payment apply.
2. For trips arranged by Novahunt AS: 50% of the total amount is to be paid no later than 14 days after the order is registered. The last 50% is to be paid no later than 2 months prior to arrival.
3. In case of arrears of payment, the customer will be charged for all additional fees and costs following from Novahunt AS attempts to collect the payment.
4. For services provided by Novahunt AS , a qoutation will be made prehand. Upon placement of the order, 50% of the estimated /qoutated invoice total is to be paid no later than 14 days after the order is registered.


4 Cancelling of order
1.The customer has the right to cancel the trip, and be refunded the paid amount, if during the trip or within the 14 days before arrival, a war, cataclysm, dangerous contagious disease or other similar incidents occur, and there is reason to assume that these circumstances will still apply when the trip starts. The customer shall also have the right to cancel if said circumstances occur on or during the trip-schedule, and they could signify a real threat to the customer. Demands concerning compensation because of events that are not part of the trip must, if these events have already been paid for by Novahunt to the current partner, be directed to the partner involved.
2.The right to cancellation after this point is void if the customer knew, or reasonable could have known, about said circumstances when he made the agreement with Novahunt.
3. Additionally, for trips delivered by our partners, the partners' own cancellation policy, as can be found in their terms and conditions, will apply. Novahunt will issue a cancellation fee of NOK 2000 in administrative costs.
4. Novahunt is obliged to offer a cancellation-insurance for cases of sudden illness and similar reasons, thereby limiting the financial risk for the customer to the cancellation fee.


5. In case of cancellation by the customer, Novahunt AS will charge a cancellation fee of NOK 2000 per person per trip in administrative costs.
1. 100% of the total amount will be refunded in case of cancellation within 14 weeks before arrival
2. 75% of the total amount will be refunded in case of cancellation up to 6 weeks before arrival
3. 50% of the total amount will be refunded in case of cancellation within 6 weeks before arrival
4. No refunds will be made in case of cancellation less than 14 days before arrival.


5 Changing an order
1. For trips delivered by our partners, the partner's own terms and conditions will apply.
2. Changing fees can be issued by both Novahunt AS and partners.
3. In case the trip has been organized directly by Novahunt AS the order can be changed within 6 weeks before arrival. As long as the change does not lead to a reduced price of the trip, no alteration fee will be charged. If the change leads to a reduced price of the trip, an alteration fee of NOK 500 will be charged. In case the change concerns the date of a trip, a fee of NOK 500 will be charged.


6 Customers' responsibilities
1. Novahunt AS is not in any way responsible for any injury, accident or death that may occur before, during or after activities booked through Novahunt AS, unless the injury or accident is a direct consequence of a fault of Novahunt AS
2. In case of trips booked with our partners, the partner's terms and conditions apply in addition to our terms and conditions.
3. In case of damage to property, housing and inventory, boats, engines, tools etc, the customer is obliged to pay for repair or replacement. The customer is also responsible for all actions by people the customer introduces on the properties.
4. Novahunt AS and our partners can demand a deposit for rented equipment at arrival. When the equipment is returned in the same state as it was in when the customer received it, the deposit will be refunded at departure. The deposit can never exceed NOK 5000.
5.The customer is obliged to inquire whether the host renting the equipment has additional insurance on the equipment.


7 Cancellation by Novahunt AS
1.For trips delivered by our partners, the partner's own terms and conditions apply additionally.

7.2, 7.3 & 7.4 applies to Novahunt AS own products
2. In case of any circumstances outside Novahunt AS control, which can not reasonably have been expected to have been taken into consideration when the agreement was made, and/or neither Novahunt AS or any of those responsible could have been expected to be able to avoid or avert the consequences of these circumstances, that impair the start of a trip, Novahunt AS can cancel an order without any liability.
Such circumstances could be, but are not limited to, war or acts of war, natural disasters, dangerous infectious diseases or other events that must be equally matched with the aforementioned.
3. Canceling a trip before it starts due to aforementioned circumstances beyond Novahunt AS control obliges Novahunt AS to refund the customer any amount paid to Novahunt AS immediately. Alternatively, the customer is entitled to participate in another similar trip if Novahunt AS can offer this.
4. Novahunt AS will be in no way responsible for other costs made by the customer than the fees paid to Novahunt AS.
5.By the same conditions as mentioned above, Novahunt AS will not be liable for deficiencies as a result of these aforementioned circumstances occurring after the trip has been started. If the trip is abbreviated by Novahunt AS, or the customer cancels it due to such conditions, the customer will be entitled to a reasonable refund.


8 Complaints
1. Complaints should be directed immediately to the listed contact person in Novahunt AS.
2. Complaints about a product provided by one of our partners should first be directed to the partner. Novahunt AS will, if needed, act as a mediator between the customer and partner to come to an agreement. Novahunt AS’ ruling regarding the complaint is binding for both the customer and partner.
3. If the cause for the complaint cannot be solved at once, a written complaint must be sent to Novahunt AS no later than 4 weeks after the tenancy has ended.
Other: In all other cases the Norwegian “lov om pakkereiser av 25. august 1995 nr” applies”

Payment conditions Novahunt AS partners
1.0Payments
1.1 All Novahunt AS partners are bound to paying Novahunt AS the agreed commission no later than 4 weeks after the date the invoice was issued. In case of direct billing from partner to customer, the partner is responsible for claiming payment.

1.2 Novahunt AS’ partners will do anything reasonably possible to accommodate an order received through Novahunt AS. Our partners are obliged to keep Novahunt AS updated concerning their agenda to avoid double bookings. In case of double booking through no fault of Novahunt AS, our partners are bound to make arrangements to accommodate our customer's orders.
