Capercaillie hunting programmes in Sweden
The season for Capercaillie opens aug 25 and lasts til the end of january. In the early season we use Vorsteh / setters to guide us to the birds. Late season we use ski's/snow shoes.
With a high successrate (full bag limit) this is an attractive hunting program for those that seek to take both Capercaillie & Black Grouse in one hunt.
A typical hunting program for capercaillie, both early season with bird dogs and late season on ski's:
day 1 - arrival on Lulea Airport
day 2,3,4 and 5 - hunting
departure - either late on day five or early on day six. Overnight stay from day 5 to day 6 is provided against a small surcharge.
Our programs are all inclusive and with a bag limit of 2 capercaillie cocks and 4 black grouses, this offer is undoubtely one of the best in the market. During 4 full hunting days, with full board accomodation, you will discover the riches Lapland offers a hunter.
